put it in on me

polina bright

At every end of the year is set the same game.
The year asks if I feel guilty for anything, or
if he should feel guilty of something. Then, he
is suggesting me to keep only the good memories,
the rest, he says, please put it in on me, somehow,
he continued, I know that you learned a few things,
or least, some suspicions have been confirmed.
At a moment, I surprised him changing a few words
with the new year, which, even if appeared disguised
in a tiny white rabbit, I recognized him by its manner
of gazing at me. He was receiving some advice.
The old year said to the new one, — love her madly,
or she will be…  ta meilleure ennemie, Happiness
